In the beginning of your book, you express a sincere concern that most people don’t know or understand the history of economics. A major portion of the book discusses the changes in economic theory in the west and particularly the United States during the 20th Century and into the early 21st Century. ![]() So there really wasn’t a way for laypeople to learn about the things that interest us–how we got where we are, where we’re headed, and what we can do about it.
